Lawrence "Law" Devera was born and raised in Los Angeles, California where he fell in love with the art of dance. Growing up, he first was interested in freestyle dance, but in 2006 joined a dance troupe called Future Shock LA where he decided to challenge himself in the art of dance choreography. From then he has grown to appreciate both dance choreography while still harnessing the art of freestyle dance as he later joined and represented groups such as Culture Shock LA, Sickstep, PAC Modern, Freedom Junkies, SPAM, Choreo Kingz, Breed and America's Best Dance Crew Season 5's Poreotix. Although he is also a student in college, he still manages to balance his time with these groups as well as with his friends and family. It may seem like too much to do, but, as he would put it, "who says you can't."

Law continues to learn and master his craft as he grows more and more in the dance world in hopes of inspiring and entertaining in every performance he does. He has been dancing for 4 years now and was crowned 2009 USA Champions with Poreotix at Hip-Hop International, but still feels no complacency with this art and always reminds himself that there is still alot to learn and still room to grow and imrove. He is thankful that new generations have also grown to apprectiate the art of dance as he did and greatfully respects the pioneers of this dance world who have paved the way for this generation of as well as the next. Lawrence hopes that he will one day become as great as these pioneers and that soon he will be able to make a living out of this amazing passion.
